Liz and family,
We are greatly saddenned to hear of Gerard's passing. He was a terrific human being and will be greatly missed.
We had great memories with Gerard, from the ranch for the past 28 years. When my father, "Murph" as Gerard called him, passed away, Gerard was the first person to hug my mom and I as we returned to the ranch 2 weeks later without my dad for the first time.
We kept Gerard and his family in our prayers as we heard progress of his valiant fight against cancer.
You are in our prayers at this time, may the memories and love for him keep you and your loved ones through this time.
Sincerely,
"Termite" and Joan Murphy

AGAIN I AM HEARTBROKEN BY THE LOSS OF ANOTHER FRIEND FROM WARRENSBURG. I MET G WHEN HE HIRED ME TO PLAY AT THE 1000 ACRES, HE MADE ME FEEL WELCOME AND PART OF THE FAMILY THERE, AND ALWAYS GO A FRIENDLY HELLO, AND HE ALWAYS WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO SAY HELLO. I KNOW HOW HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AS MUCH AS I LOVE MINE. WARRENSBURG HAS LOST A TRUE FRIEND AND A GENUINELY NICE MAN. HE AND HIS FAMILY WILL BE REMEMBERED IN MY THOUGHTS.

Liz, Gabby, Zack & Joseph Having loss a great man ourselves, we know the pain you are experiencing.
The Caldarulo's were at the ranch 20+ great years. My Mikey was the person who started the bonfires the week we were there. The very first year, he did one, Mikey sneaked over and helped himself to the wood and Gerard caught him! Oh what a laugh those two had. Following years, Gerard always made sure the wood was down there so Mikey wouldn't lug it.
Vinnie and Kami could share that we always lectured them on our way up the hill each year by saying "now remember, behave and don't do anything we'd find out about through Gerard. Make him mad and you will be in big trouble" Every year it was the same statement. And they always behaved.
I remember the joy Gerard had at showing each of you off year after year, my guess was you would be tired of hearing "you have to come sometime this week because people are expecting to see you. Everyone knew how he loved you all very much how proud he was. Continue in making him proud. The memories, pictures and stories you'll be told will help sustain you. Keep a journal when those thoughts come through. As time goes on, you'll find yourself going back and reading them over and over again.
God Bless and Love,
Diane Vinnie and Kami Caldarulo as well as "Big Mike" from heaven.

Dear Liz and family,
Our condolences on behalf of Out and About Women. We will miss Gerald very much. For 15 years, our spring and winter weekends at 1,000 Acres were a success because Gerald loved to make others happy. He made sure we were comfortable, that DJs played music we like, that our meals were prepared just right, and that we had plenty of activities during the weekend to keep 150 women happy (not an easy task). We will always remember Gerald. We are blessed to have known him.

You know Gerard had his share of burden and is probably up in the front row seat right now reaping God's glory!
