Nicholas A. Bodenweiser, 13, of Alden Ave., passed away, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at the Glens Falls Hospital from injuries sustained in a bicycle – motor vehicle accident in Warrensburg.
Born August 24, 1993 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Kathryn “Katy” (Brown) Kenyon of Warrensburg and Keith Bodenweiser of Queensbury.
Nick was a lifelong resident of the area and would have been a freshman this fall at Warrensburg Central High School. He was very active in the sports program and was affectionately known as the class clown.
His favorite pastimes included music, bike riding, snowmobiling, hunting with his step dad, and fishing and metal detecting with his dad.
He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, William Bodenweiser, and his paternal step grandmother, Nancy Langworthy.
Besides his father and mother, Nick also leaves behind his step father, Carson Kenyon of Warrensburg; Paternal step mother, Estelle Cavanagh of Queensbury; his brother, Kris Bodenweiser of Warrensburg, and brother and sister, Eric and Monica Cavanagh of Queensbury; maternal grandparents, Ernie and Anne Brown of Warrensburg; paternal grandmother, Mary Bodenweiser of Ft. Edward; paternal step grandfather, Carson G. Kenyon of Warrensburg.
Friends may call on Nick’s family from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 8 pm Friday at the funeral home with Doug Duell, Warrensburg Central High School Administrator officiating.
