We will miss Captain Bill. Years ago he taught sailing for us in the Lake George Sailing School, founded to help adults new to the sport. Captain Bill was a favorite and everyone enjoyed sails with him, both because of his knowledge and his wonderful stories.We are sorry that a bout of illness yesterday and today has kept us from passing on our high regard for him to his family and friends.

George was the most beautiful, loving, Christian man I have ever known. I will miss him very much, especially bringing him chocolate, which he loved so. The world would be a better place with more Captain Bills in it.

George of the jungle/Captain was such a wonderful person.He will be missed greatly.I must say he was one of my favorites.He always started my day with a joke or a compliment or a song or one of his many stories of his life.I hope he finished his tape although he probably didn't.What is the button of the day?!
