Obituary of Christopher Lee Armstrong

North Creek: Christopher L. Armstrong, 46, of Peaceful Valley Road, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 28, 2007. Born May 17, 1961 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Lee and Alice Armstrong of North Creek. Chris lived the majority of his life in North Creek and graduated from Johnsburg Central School and Southern Adirondack Educational Center for Culinary Arts in 1982. He worked for CWI for the past 10 years and enjoyed his career. Chris loved the outdoors, working on the computer, and enjoyed detailing vehicles for a lot of the local people. He spent a lot of time with family, friends and his co-workers. Anyone who knew him loved him. Chris wore his heart on his shoulders and loved everyone. He is predeceased by his sister, Darlene Haynes, who passed away in 1978. He leaves behind his parents, Lee and Alice Armstrong of North Creek; his brothers, Greg Armstrong of Hudson Falls, Bill Armstrong and his fiancée, Lisa of North Creek; his sisters, Debbie Yontz and her husband, Jeff of Hampton, VA, Penny Persons and her husband, Jason of North Creek; three nieces, Hayley, Dianna and Emily; five nephews, Benjamin, Kaleb, Anthony, Patrick and Gregory Lee; also his best friend, Jeff and loving aunt and uncle Kip and Luella Burke and many cousins and good friends. Friends may call on Chris’s family from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc, 4479 State Rt. 28, North River. Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ron Allen, Pastor of the Sodom Community Church officiating. Burial will follow the service in Brant Lake Cemetery, Brant Lake. Pallbearers will be Matt Thomas, Bill Thomas, Amanda Hayes, Jason Persons, Eric May and Eric Persons.
