My sincere sympathies to the family.
In Memory of Ryan Winslow
Shine On
Shine on, sweet smile
Your presence lingers with us still.
Let us see your sun kissed face
Memories, be not erased.
Let my heart burden the weight
So those you loved, pain dissipates.
Let the tears fall from our eyes
In the pool reflect your life.
Stand strong as you would
Turn back the clock if we could.
Look upon us. Help us through.
Provide guidance, daylight renew.
Ask not why, questions remain.
For our lives won’t be the same.
Shine on, sweet smile
Blessed are those who knew you awhile.

Words will never express the sorrow we extend from our family to yours. Ryan will be forever in all of our hearts. Remembering all the times Ryan and Justin have shared from pre-school at Jan's to Graduation and beyond. Ryan's love of sports and his friends will be a legacy for each of you and all whose life he touched. His smile was always contagious, his shyness reflected many times also. Each time he entered our home it brightened our day. Bryan and Donne you are both wonderful and loving parents and that was reflected in Ryan, Robin and Carrie you have been the greatest sisters anyone could ask for and he loved both of you. When we celebrate Ryan's life many tears and many hands held will be with each of you. Prayers of thankfulness for having known Ryan are being said and prayers of love are extended to each of you. May he rest in peace as we all come together to share days gone by much too soon. God grant you strength, comfort and peace for all time. Love, Jim, Shirl & Justin

I would like to send my deepest condolences during this tough time. I am a basketball coach at Corinth Central School. I had the pleasure of coaching against Ryan all the way from modified to Varsity. Ryan was a fierce competitor and a true gentleman. I could see from watching him play he was a very hard worker and tried to make everyone around him a better player. I know the coaches at Warrensburg were very proud of Ryan, they spoke highly of him. Once again I am very sorry for your tragic loss, you all will be in my thoughts.

I only knew you briefly...
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for Ryan's passing.
I found these poems and they seem to capture my impression of him:
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain,
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die. — Source unknown
And life is eternal and love is immortal,
and death is only a horizon,
and a horizon is nothing
save the limit of our sight. — William Penn
