Warrensburg:
John Richard Shave, 69, of Warrensburg, passed away, Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born March 3, 1937 in Schenectady, Richie was the son of the late Charles and Irene Shave.
Besides living in Warrensburg, he also resided in Bushnell, Florida for many years.
Richie’s favorite pastimes included participating in the Special Olympics, attending church, bowling and dancing.
Besides his parents, his two brothers, Donald and Ronald Shave have both predeceased him.
Survivors include two nieces, Ronna Brainard and her husband, James of Warrensburg, Dawn Bennett and her husband, Thomas of Thurman; nephew, Ronald Michael Shave and his wife, Tami of Palm Beach, FL; and several great nieces and nephews.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours scheduled.
Burial will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
