Obituary of Clifford S. Johnson

Brant Lake:
Clifford S. Johnson, 62, formerly of State Rt. 8, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in North Creek.
Born March 21, 1949 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Clifford S. Sr. and Helen (Allen) Johnson.
Cliff was a lifelong resident of the area and served in the USMC in Vietnam. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, and country music. He also enjoyed family gatherings and partaking in the good life.
He was a self-employed logger throughout his entire working years.
Besides his parents, Cliff is predeceased by his stepson, James Curtis Prosser.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson and their children, Tooter Johnson, Jonathan Johnson and his companion, Heather Baker, Tammy Mason and her husband, Willis; also including Clifford Johnson IV; Brenda Johnson and her companion, Dan Ackley; Lance Johnson; stepson, J.R. Prosser and his wife, Courtney; and their mother, Linda Tennant; he also leaves behind his grandchildren: Kimberly Johnson, William “Zeb” Mason, Kiana and Dakota Ackley, Lila Johnson, and expectant grandson, Damon Johnson; step-grandchildren, Sierra, Darren, Logan, and Jasmyn Prosser all of Warrensburg; his sisters: Retta Clark and Sue Ramsey and her husband, Larry; and several nieces and nephews all of the Ballston Spa area.
Cliff’s family would like to thank High Peaks Hospice and the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing Home for all the compassionate care he received throughout his illness.
Friends may call on Cliff’s family from 12-2 pm Monday at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at 2 pm Monday the funeral home.
Burial will immediately follow in Warrensburg Cemetery.
