This got to be one of the hardest things I have ever typed I knew someday gram you would be gone but never in my mind did I ever think it would be true live my great life without you. We laid you to rest the other day and I have such a empty hole in my heart the can't be filled, I know someday it will. Just knowing all I got to do is close my eyes or go look at your pic brings a flood of great memories that I will never forget. I Love and Miss you so much but I know there is never a goodbye because I will see you again but not yet but someday we will be having fun forever all of us. Thanks For All you have done for me and the chats we had I will miss them Gram. Love you your little Bri

Spending time with the Hayes family over the past couple of days was just a reminder of what a wonderful woman Liz Hayes was! She was a beautiful lady with a bright, friendly smile and a heart full of love. She was someone I admired. You can see that she taught all of her children how to live by her example. I will always treasure my memories of her, especially the times we spent having tea and cookies! I will never forget her smile and her kindness. She will always have a place in my heart and I will miss her. My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Hayes family. The world has lost another wonderful mom, but we were all very lucky to have had her in our lives.

I will always remember "Aunt Liz" and all the joy she brought to my Mom and our family over the years. Mom always has a special look on her face when she speaks of their younger days together as teenagers out on their own for the first time and then later in life taking trips together with their husbands. These are memories that will last a lifetime. She truly was a wonderful, warm and loving person. God grant you all peace.
Love Hilda Baldwin Gifford and my Mom Jane Baldwin

It's never easy to lose a parent, especially one as vibrant and loving as Mrs. Hayes. This is a good time to reflect on how lucky we all were to have known her. She certainly had her work cut out for her with all those boys and she did it well. Thank God that her beauty got passed along to the girls. She was a wonderful person, soft and warm. When you were speaking with her, you were the only person in the world. Rest in peace Mrs. Hayes.

And as both our Mothers aged, each of our families stood right beside them with the return of that love and comfort they had given all of us....Stand proudly beside your Mother at the calling hours on Tuesday..You were so blessed to be her child!!
