Karen will always be remembered as a loving wife, supportive mother, great friend, exteremly hard worker, and one who always put her family first.
Working with Karen at the Olde Log Inn always made for an entertaining evening! Her great sense of humor and kindness to all made her the amazing person she was.
It was a great joy to have her as a fellow Flat Rock Road neighbor. Our son Kyle used to watch for Karen to drive by our house daily because he knew when she drove by she would always beep and wave to him.
Karen you will never be forgotten and may you rest peacefully now.
Charlie and Joe we are here for you with great love and support during this difficult time.

Karen and I started working at Travelers on the same day. She checked on me when I had heart surgery and I checked on her while she was sick. I miss her everyday when I pull into the parking garage. Usually we arrived at the same time and even when one of us was running late we would wait for the other and walk into work together. Joe, your mom loved you so much. I've never met you but I feel I have with the stories she told. April, you may have had your differences but Karen loved you and her grandchildren more than you will ever know. Charlie I'm so sorry that you've lost your best friend. If there is anything you need don't hesitate to ask. I never expected her to go so soon but I'm glad she is now resting.

Karen was an outgoing and caring person. Karen was my friend and I will miss her smile and friendship. In mid summer Karen gave me a silly band. Several of us were at a cookout. I know nothing of this craze. She had on several and asked if I would like one. I said yes and it has not left my arm sense that night.

I worked with Karen at Travelers. One thing that was obvious to us all, was that Karen was extremely devoted to her family. She gave everything she had of herself to make sure her family knew what they meant to her. We all will miss her dedication to her work and loving stories about her family. She will be greatly missed.

Karen was my stepmother, wife of my father, Charles. I have so many fond memories of Karen whom I love dearly, just as a daughter should love her mother. We had our fair share of arguments, mother daughter love was definitely there. And we also shared many happy memories together, especially shopping with dads credit cards, oops, sorry dad, you can't help but to love us though. Karen never once treated me as her stepdaughter, but as "her daughter". What I will miss most about her...her smile! Karen had a smile that would light up a room, a beautiful warm smile that I will miss dearly. I may even miss her yelling at me from time to time. Heavenly father, you have just received a beautiful extremely loved woman whom is now your angel. I pray that you rest in peace Karen knowing how loved and how special you really were. I love you and will forever miss you.
