I am proud to be the granddaughter of such an amazing lady. Gram was always busy doing something and trying to make everyone around her happy. I remember going to many octoberfests with her and dancing while she sang her beautiful songs. I will miss you a ton, but will always hang on to the many happy memories I had with you and grandpa as a child and an adult. I Love You gram. RIP

Gram was affectionately known to many of her grandchildren as "Go-Go Grama". After spending an entire day in the kitchen making her famous donuts, she drove like crazy around the Adirondacks delivering them. With donuts and grandchildren shoved in the car, we had some wonderful times and fond memories. Love you Gram

Lisa was a remarkably adaptable woman who survived life under Hitler's Germany in the 1930's, dodged Allied bombs in WWII in the 1940's, learned to speak English and married an American soldier in the 1950's, and came to the US where she made a comfortable home and raised a very devoted family. By the 1960's she had transformed herself into a genuine Adirondacker who had integrated herself into the North Creek community. She lived a long and successful life, and she will be missed. I will never forget Lisa and her wonderful pastries. On behalf of everyone at Hudson Headwaters Health Network I would like to extend my sincere condolences and best wishes to Eugena, Monica, and the rest of her family.

My deepest sympathies to all of you who were part of Lisa's family and those who loved her. She was the original donut lady for she would send donuts to school on special occasions where all enjoyed them so very much. She told me stories of her growing up in Germany during War Time and the hardships she endured. Quite the lady. Love to you all. Olga

To Monica, Dale and family ans siblings..
I just want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I loved Lisa like a second Mom she was always great to Pete and I and was a wonderful Mom, she could make you smile no matter how rotten you felt. I loved to hear her laugh and the time I went with Monica to Florida and she made us promise her something that we today still laugh about and scolded us for tossing bread pudding in the middle of the resturant across the table, Mom was full of words of wisdom and will be greatly missed by all who knew her..Sending my love to you all..I am here if you want or need to talk...Love, Tammy
