Sue, How the years have flown and how many incredible happy memories do we have of our time growing up together in that wonderful little town? You and I and Judy and Cindy were joined at the hip until graduation and were forced to go grow up and act like adults! ..I treasure the years of laughter and gossiping and friendship. We were so blessed to have lived the life we had. Maybe Mom and Joan are in a hand of bridge right now! Love and sympathy to you, Cathy, Claire and Mark, Sincerely, Jan Severance

I am deeply saddened to read of your mom's passing. I was blessed to have her in my life in so so many ways. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside. She was my left & right hands at the Pharmacy and a supportive ear when needed. Fondly I have wonderful memories of fun thing we did and times with your Dad and Sharyl. My sincerest sympathies to the entire family of Aunt Joan, as I always called her. She was always so welcoming and kind to me as a new "member" of the Stewart clan and I loved her very much. As others have already noted, she loved to laugh and had beatiful twinkling eyes. RIP, Aunt Joan, you will be missed very much and remembered in my heart always. xxoooo.

Cathy, Claire, Sue and Mark,
I was so saddened to learn of your Mom's passing in today's Post Star. She was so much fun to be around. I think of her often when I am passing your home on Circle Ave., and can hear her beautiful voice in the choir loft in St. James. I have warm and wonderful memories of her laugh and her beautiful blue eyes and think of her as a great Mother. She always made me feel special.

Cathy, Claire, Sue and Mark: I was shocked to see your mom's obit in the paper today as many will be. When she moved to White Water Manor I saw Joan at Sarah's Cafe many mornings enjoying her coffee and paper. She was always walking around the village and always was a picture of health. So very sorry for your loss...my heart goes out to you all.
