Mom: I miss you already, you were always able to make sense out of the bad things. You loved so many people and they in turn loved you. Today there are so many deeply hurt by what we have lost. for me watching you age so gracefully and loveing so many, spreading your love and cheer to so many at the Stanton makes me proud to be your daughter. Thank you for bringing me into this world and for teaching me how to love no matter what.

I would like to express my condolences for the entire family of Loretta Collard. Thirteen years ago, I became Loretta's daughter Teri's stepdaughter. Loretta accepted myself and my children as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immediately without question. She gave us unconditional love and admiration, as any grandmother would their grandchildren. When my son was a toddler, he was unable to say "great grandma" and it came out grandma grape. This tickled Loretta and she gave my son a hug and told him "it's alright honey, I will be your Grandma Grape." To this day, we have called her "Grandma Grape". I have the greatest appreciation for the wonderfully giving spirit of Loretta, for she gave the greatest of herself to everyone who knew her...her heart.
